Where Did Ambient Come From
Ambient started as a musical style with Brian Eno, one of whose earliest efforts was 'Ambient 1- Music for Airports' which came out in 1980.
Ambient takes a minimalistic approach to music, using the bare essential elements to bring across a musical idea. The idea in mind is that 'less is more' in this case.
At Tetragrammaton Productions Ltd studio, our mission statement is to bring you the finest in ambient style music, as well as offering other kinds of music such as progressive acoustic jazz and instrumental from synthesized to experimental and avante garde.
We believe that music is not just about a traditional 'ensemble': guitar, bass, keyboard, and drums- although many great ideas have been 'brought to the table' using this format, it is not our wish to continue the traditional, although some traditional elements have been included in our releases.

What Is TPL's Music About?
Here at TPL we believe that music should not have to tax the heart or the head in order to be enjoyed.
Our music is mostly instrumental and ambient in order to help with this process. Music can be an avenue to an altered state of consciousness, and should put you in a frame of mind that will carry away all the tensions and the frustrations of the day- we can compare it to a kind of 'meditation' where one can process the events of the day and then just leave them behind in order to move forward.
